Hi, my name is Jessica Fry. I am the Kindergarten teacher at Central Lutheran School. I graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 2006. I moved from Nebraska to Iowa to teach at CLS. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 15 years! I love getting the opportunity to see young children learn and grow in many different ways. Most of all, I love to share the good news of Jesus Christ with my students and their families.
I am married to my husband, Michael. We have a son, Bennett, who is a 1st grader at CLS and a (step)daughter, Clara, who is an 8th grader at Iowa Valley.
I am a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Atkins. I serve on the St. Stephens Fellowship Committee and the CLS SCRIP Committee on Sunday mornings.
One of my favorite Bible verses is from the book of Romans: We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (Romans 6:4)
Another favorite verse also comes from Romans: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38)
